Whether you choose the full packing service by our trained staff, or prefer to do your own packing, QUICKSILVER can supply the correct cartons and wrapping materials for the job. Whichever, we're here to help and advice is freely given.

Our EXPORT STANDARD wrapping and packing service, whilst costing a little extra, pro­vides the protection required for international shipping.

Free quotations

Provided by an estimator who will visit you to assess the work involved, each written quotation is free of any obligation. This personal visit means care is taken to correctly quantify the work and provide an accurate quotation, with appropri­ate allowances being made for access difficulties, special tools or equipment.

Although we do not generally provide quotations over the phone, long-distance customers can be given a quotation if they provide an accurate written inventory, together with any other information required by the estimator.

Small load delivery

Small loads can be carried far more economically if combined with others, as part loads. A service regularly used for carriage beyond our home area, each customer shares the cost of the journey pro-rata, with the removal being made once a complete load is assembled.

Special items delivery

Since our regular commercial clients include auctioneers of antiques, QUICKSILVER have specially trained staff, skilled in the moving of items such as pianos, grandfather clocks and barometers. With expert handling, staff can dismantle items, where necessary, and specialist equipment, including vehicles with tail-lifts, are employed in moving items such as grand pianos.

Insurance cover

Any quotation from us automatically includes a premium for goods in transit.
Additional cover can be arranged to insure your property and goods against loss or damage.
